**Pre-requisite: Technical proficiency and teacher's recommendation.
Student must take Beginning Adult Ballet class immediately preceding
this pointe class.
If you danced
as a child and would like to begin again, or wanted to dance
and never had the chance, this program is for you. On weekday
mornings and Tuesday evenings teachers are dedicated to instructing
adults in the full Vaganova syllabus. Additional classes bring
a mix of Russian, Cecchetti and American styles. All classes
are accompanied by a pianist with a full barre and center work.
This is exercise in its most elegant form...it feeds the soul
as well as the body. Classes offered daily for ages 13 and older.
Beginning Ballet (1.5 hr class). No previous training required.

Two years ballet experience required.
- Intermediate/Advanced
Ballet (1.5 hr class)
Four years classical ballet training with a current proficientcy
in technique and teachers recommendation required.
- Jazz
(1.5 hr class)
No previous experience required. Based on Conte and Luigi
methods.
- Repertory
(1 hr class)
Learn new choreography created for the adult dancer to be
used in performance. Students are required to take the Intermediate
Ballet class preceeding. Two years classical ballet experience
required.
- Technique
Tune-up (1.25 hr class)
This is a back-to-the-basics class designed to increase adult
dancers understanding of ballet technique based on the
Vaganova syllabus, the terminology used, and musicality.
- Pilates-based
(1.25 hr class)
Toning and strengthening your center/ abdominal muscles based
on the Pilates Method. Includes floor exercise using mats.
- Fundamentals
(.75 hr class)
This is an introductory class to familiarize students with
ballet technique.
- Beginning
Pointe (.75 hr class)
This is your chance to see what all the hoopla is about. Students
are required to take the Beg. Ballet class preceeding. Teachers
recommendation required.
