The curriculum for this program is divided into six levels and provides professional training in classical ballet based on the Vaganova Method. Advancement is determined by the students progress in developing technical skills, strength, and flexibility.
The required classes include character, variations, partnering, repertoire, and an educational video series. Parental support and interest are encouraged. Level 3 students may begin pointe work during the summer session. Level 4/5 students may do corps work in our major productions. Level 6 students may have small ensemble, demi-soloist, and soloist roles. Students progress will be evaluated in December and June.
